Who is Elementary Tales?

We are a group of elementary Montessori Teachers connecting our efforts in story telling with each other! In the Montessori educational method, teachers are storytellers of all subjects within the framework of Cosmic Education. They tell tales for elementary children. Whether we are teaching math or chemistry, we start the lesson with a setting, a time, a history of what has come before and what we are doing now so that the children understand not just WHAT we are teaching, but also WHY!

Why use storytelling in the classroom?

Telling a story makes any topic no matter how boring come to life. It puts the human factor into anything! We can image and explore in our creations! Have you ever remembered a story told to you in vivid detail using a multitude of adjectives? This is because you can imagine it and form the story in your head! Any historical event can be told in a story and remembered this way! Enjoy exploring our tales!

How to use our page?
